About

My name is Brenda Loznik and I love turning data into information. I started out working in R&D and Product management in the Retail and the Agricultural sector. Here I analyze anything I can get my hands on. I’ve studied trial data to determine the efficacy of newly developed products, market data to find new opportunities and I performed all kinds of analyses to either gain new insights or improve the positioning of products.

I love being the link between the technical and commercial world and to use my creativity to tell a story in a way that even my grandmother would understand. As a matter of fact, I have had the honor to tell the King and Queen of The Netherlands about a technique I hold a patent to!

I found myself working with data more and more and really enjoying it. I started taking online courses on topics like Python, machine learning and SQL. In the summer of 2020 I decided I would officially retrain myself and to enroll in the Data and AI Track of the Techionista Academy. This program is truly preparing me for my dream job, working as a Data Scientist…

Another fun fact about me is that I love travelling to remote places. I have lived and worked in the Costa Rican jungle for 6 months and I have seen gorillas and orangutans in the wild. The picture on the home page was taken on my trip to Madagascar.
